Since the tsunami and earthquake in Japan, many members of the fashion community have stepped up to donate profits and resources to relief efforts. For example, jewelry designer Suzanne Somersall of Kira Kira, who has a jewelry studio in Japan, is currently donating 20 percent of online sales to the Red Cross.
