I recently basked in the presence of Hollywood's prettiest for the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel honoring the legendary Jennifer Hudson. Showing off her new svelte body courtesy of Weight Watchers and major portion control, she blushed and teared up as a montage of her life displaying images and footage of her performance alongside Beyonce in Dreamgirls and Dakota Fanning in Secret Life of Bees played on the widescreen. We loved her slimming purple shift dress, but the cutest part of JHud was her date: her curly haired toddler son dressed to the nines in a mini man grey vest and pant suit.
It was like one huge Hollywood reunion, in a room filled with mega stars Serena Williams, Kimora Lee Simmons, and singer Brandy.
