Style Star: Olivia Palermo, former Elle Magazine accessories editor,
jewelry designer and star of MTV's reality show The City.

Occasion: Soiree to toast fashion designer Anna Sui's limited edition collection
for undies line and celebrity fave, Hanky Panky

Where: New York City

Daisy: You look adorable. What are you wearing?

Olivia: I am in a random sweater that I pulled from my closet, my bracelet is Lulu Frost, these are just two personal pieces of mine, my shoes are a no name, skirt is Frank Taldo and my bag is Dior.

Daisy: It's all about personal style, and yours is amazing.

Olivia: Thank you. I love mixing high and low. It's not always about a full (designer head to toe) look, it's about personal style.

Daisy: I love this knot on your bag handle.

Olivia: Yeah, when the chain is too long and it gets annoying, you just knot it and that kind of gives it a cool edge.

Daisy: Fall is here. What are the trends that you can't live without?

Olivia: It's been so warm here, I'm not ready for the cold. But I'll probably do a lot of burgundy.

Daisy: Are you a bootie girl or a knee high boot babe?

Olivia: I love knee high boots. I love my 50/50 by Stuart Weitzman. For a heel I'll probably pick like a Charlotte boot or something from my closet.

Daisy: What's your advice to girls shopping for coats this season?

Olivia: I was telling my girlfriend that the one important thing that is key is that it's tailored, then you'll have the perfect coat.

Daisy: Alive or dead, whose closet would you love to raid?

Olivia: You can't take anyone's closet. It's theirs, it's personal. But I would probably say old Hollywood, and all of the movie studios' wardrobe closets.

Though we agree with Olivia that you can't take anyone's closet, you can always steal a little inspiration. Here are some pieces inspired by her look:
