Last week we introduced you to spring 2015′s pointed toe flat trend. If flats just aren’t your thing (or if you just feel like treating yourself to a new footwear wardrobe) consider block heels your must-have for the new season. To ward off any chance of the style looking matronly, my favorite block heels are designs that incorporate animal or reptile prints, saturated colors or glittery metallics. Many styles can easily morph into a work-appropriate look, but when the evening or weekend rolls around, pair them with literally any style of jeans–or especially great for this time of year–waxed denim or faux leather pants. Choose a low-heeled version or something taller…block heels are a comfortable, stylish alternative to teetering stilettos.
