While I’m drooling over the new Tory Burch for Fitbit collection, my kids can now join in on the fitness band craze with the all new LeapBand by LeapFrog. Available in three colors, pink, blue and green, the LeapBand comes preset with 50 active challenges that kids can easily do like “pounce like a lion” or “leap like a frog,” tracks all your child’s movement throughout the day including and then in turn as their activity progresses it unlocks rewards and games for the child. There is a preset school/quiet mode so technically the child could also wear it to school and there is a virtual pet that you get to take care of by feeding it nutritious snacks and giving it a bath. The rechargeable battery lasts 3-4 days depending on the usage and the LeapBand is also water-resistant. The LeapBand can be also be customized via your computer and on the LeapFrog online site. I think this is going to be a hot seller come holiday time so I suggest stocking up now so you won’t be hunting e-bay for it later this year!
