With two active kids in tow, flat sandals are absolutely necessary for me during the summer months. I’m a pretty tough customer, though, when it comes to choosing a great pair. They have to be comfortable, of course, but style is just as important as fit and feel. In the past, gladiator sandals with buckles and zippers have been my go-to styles, but this year, I’ve opted to go with a fresher look: Grecian-inspired lace up sandals. It’s shocking how versatile these lace up sandals are, too. Whether you opt for full-on corset lacing or just a woven tie near the ankle, these sandal styles work with shorts, sundresses…even boyfriend jeans. And, truth be told, they’re just a little sexy when combined with a great pedi and eye-catching accessories. If you’re going to add one new pair of sandals for summer, lace up sandals in your choice of color and style are absolute musts.
