Zooey Deschanel’s adorable (natch) new line for Tommy Hilfiger, “To Tommy, From Zooey,” launched today. Filled with signature Zooey style, including girly dresses and accessories in red, white and blue, there’s much to love from the capsule collection.
“Working with Tommy on this capsule collection has been really amazing,” said Zooey Deschanel. “I am a fashion fanatic and I am always looking for new ways to incorporate vintage, feminine pieces into my own wardrobe. Tommy and I share many of the same inspirations—old school music, classic films and old Hollywood icons—and his guidance during the design process helped to put a really unique twist on each piece.”
All the dresses in the collection have the short hems first made famous and fashionable by iconic models of the era like Twiggy and Jean Shrimpton and favored by the actress herself. Color-blocking adds graphic impact to the line-up, made with a mix of classic materials, like pique and oxford cloth, modish prints, silks and linens.
