Lace and springtime. They just go hand-in-hand. The only problem with lace is that it can sometimes seem a bit prim, and in a season where graphic is everything, prim is not necessarily ideal. The compromise? Eyelet lace. With its larger, often chunkier scale, eyelet can easily go from fun and flirty to bold and graphic. It’s also extremely easy to dress up or down, making it possible to wear the same piece from work to weekend. And while you can never go wrong with white eyelet lace, styles featuring the fabric in dark navy, black or even electric orange look fresh for 2014.
