We love it when a star reaches back into the fashion archives for a red carpet look, but Scarlett’s lacy Armani Privé ensemble received mixed reactions. The pregnant actress selected this Spring 2009 white lace peplum top and black skirt with ruffled hem for Thursday’s premiere of Captain America: The Winter Soldier in Los Angeles. She completed the look with Van Cleef & Arpels jewels and Christian Louboutin Pigalace pumps.
Scarlett’s lacy look probably would have earned higher marks if it weren’t for that strategically placed tassel accent. Do you think the tassels ruined the outfit or was this blast from the past a red carpet hit?
