Nia certainly stood out at the Los Angeles premiere of her new film The Single Moms Club on Monday night in this revealing black gown by NARCES. The Spring 2014 creation was actually modified for the black carpet with a strategic sheer panel added to the neckline in what we can only assume was a rather misguided attempt to provide more coverage. With that black bow accent situated right at the waist, all eyes were definitely drawn to the plunging neckline even with the gown’s extreme side slit. Black peep-toe pumps capped off the look.
While we understand the need for this real world adjustment, we think the gown would have benefited from a slightly less sheer and extended panel to transform this look from overly revealing to simply ravishing. Do you wish Nia had opted for a bit more tailoring or do you love the finished product?
