Celebs love high-low hemlines

Hemlines can range from way above the knee all the way down to the floor and pretty much every space in-between. One length stars have been finding favor with lately, though, is the high-low hem. Here's just a sampling of how celebs have been showing off asymmetrical hemlines the past several months.



The high-low hem on Jennifer Hudson's bright orange Christian Dior dress at the 2013 American Music Awards gave everyone a peek at that contrasting pink lining. Charlotte Olympia platforms rounded out the look. Suki Waterhouse wore a pink Emilia Wickstead Spring 2014 pearl-accented dress featuring the dramatic hemline last month at the 2013 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards. She capped off the look with coordinating pumps.



It was a colorfully printed Monique Lhuillier for Juliette Lewis back in October at the 17th Annual Hollywood Film Awards. The rise-and-fall hem on the star's Resort 2014 gown allowed her metallic sandals a chance to shine. Jessica Paré made an impact in September at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards. This turquoise Oscar de la Renta Spring 2014 ball gown was paired with the designer's black satin Melissa sandals.
