Dress-a-tility: summer tops and bottoms that go from day to night

Pants and tops that transition seamlessly from day to night occasionally might cost a little more, but the versatility (or dress-a-tility) they offer up are quite valuable. I love the plus size tunic shown here because you could easily wear it over a swimsuit during the day and add pants and heels to amp it up for evening. I picked the Vince sequined cami (although I know you can find one that costs much less) because it's paired with neutral colored shorts and is a terrific example of how to wear what we would typically consider a nighttime essential during a summer day. Love both jackets because they have the power to redefine an outfit from dressed down to dressed up instantly. And the Vince Camuto wedge sandals are great to give you a dose of height, elongate your frame and morph from cargo pants to a cute dress with ease.
