We don't know if we'd ever take off this simple yet chic ring by Etsy shop Lunaticart. Based in Paris, the line features elegant and fashion forward jewelry often made using eco-friendly practices and materials like reclaimed silver. The designer, Berenice, started off making and selling jewelry to other backpackers and tourists wherever she went (when her career in international business hadn't panned out to be the job of her dreams, she quit, sold everything she owned, bought a few beads and took off into the world - how cool is that?). Selling pieces in so many different countries made Berenice aware of the importance of trading, recycling and consuming locally, which is why she buys her metals from environmentally-friendly refineries and supplies from local businesses or fair trade communities whenever possible.
