Red carpet: 2013 Golden Globe Awards

It was another night of stylish gowns as celebs hit the red carpet for the Golden Globe Awards. There was certainly a lot of color on display and stars embraced embellishments hoping to stand out from the fashionable crowd. Plunging necklines, strapless silhouettes and floral prints all made notable appearances. Here are some highlights from last night.



Nicole Richie simply stunned in this light blue Naeem Khan Spring 2013 embroidered gown accented with a fringed House of Harlow 1960 bag. Zooey Deschanel stuck with her go-to retro vibe by wearing a red Oscar de la Renta strapless gown. The New Girl star finished off the look with Kwiat jewelry. Another actress in red was Jennifer Lawrence who won for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook. She styled her strapless Christian Dior Fall 2012 Couture gown with a metallic belt and a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch.



Jennifer Lopez opted for a lacy Zuhair Murad gown combined with Le Vian jewels. It was a dramatic plum-colored Donna Karan Atelier gown with exposed back for Taylor Swift. Jessica Chastain's seafoam Calvin Klein halter gown was set off by Harry Winston gems.



Jessica Alba also wore Harry Winston jewelry which perfectly complemented her melon Oscar de la Renta gown. Kristen Bell's lovely lilac Jenny Packham gown with heavily embellished bodice helped the pregnant actress stand out on the red carpet. Anne Hathaway relied on Chanel for both her Spring 2009Couture gown and her dazzling jewelry.
