When Anne hit the red carpet Monday night for the New York premiere of Les Misérables, all eyes were on her glamorous Tom Ford Spring 2013 jet black taffeta caped masterpiece. Then she stuck out her leg to reveal the designer's intense over-the-knee sandal boots. We're not really sure how to feel about such graphic custom-made vegan footwear, especially when paired with an already extraordinary gown. Anne's hair, makeup, and Fred Leighton jewels are all flawless, but we can't seem to get past her boots, which could have been initially mistaken for fashion-forward leg braces. Perhaps we would appreciate Tom Ford's unique creations a bit more paired with a different outfit. Anne has been taking quite a few risks lately and we certainly commend her for it, but still feel she might have missed the mark on this one.
